Fellowship Programme

Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy & ERCP

Schedule of Training:

  • First 3 Days: Orientation
  • 4th day onwards: Endoscopy / Colonoscopy Diagnostic
  • 8th Day onwards: Side Viewing Endoscopy
  • 21st Day onwards: Stent Removal / Stent placement / CBD sweep
  • 2nd Month: Therapeutic Endoscopy / Colonoscopy
  • 3rd Month: Fresh papilla cannulation + Sphincterotomy
  • 4th Month: Sphincteroplasty / Needle Knife / Pancreatic Sphincterotomy


Rule Book:

  • Fellowship duration is for 4 months period.
  • You are not supposed to leave training in between.
  • A furnished accommodation will be provided at the cost of Rs. 30000/- (for 4 months) + electricity charges extra as per actual.
  • You are supposed to maintain a log book of procedures performed.
  • There are two fellows getting training at any particular time. One is senior other one is junior.
  • New fellow joins every two months.
  • You will be provided adequate exposure to Therapeutic endoscopy & ERCP. Those who are interested can learn basic skills of EUS too can learn.
